For regulators

Chemical-safety evidence you can cite, and check.

Every agency’s position on a substance, side by side, each tied to the agency’s own document, archived and dated. Free for regulatory bodies once our data meets our quality bar. We earn from brands and consultants, never from agencies.

  1. Every agency, one screen.

IARC, US EPA, EU CLP and ECHA, California OEHHA, EFSA, NTP: each agency’s classification for a substance, side by side. Where agencies disagree we show the disagreement; we never average it away.

⚑ Disagreement flagged: food use, EU (not permitted) vs US (permitted ≤ 1%).

  2. Legal limits by route, and who they bind.

Workplace air limits by sector (OSHA general industry, construction, shipyards), drinking-water limits and EU occupational limits, each with its exposure route and the regulation’s own text.

(For contrast: NIOSH recommends 2.4 mg/m³ fine and 0.3 mg/m³ ultrafine [S7]. That is a recommendation, not a legal limit, and is labelled so. The construction table (1926) carries a TiO₂ total-dust row with no figure parsed, so it is not shown.)

  4. Evidence for your case file.

A dated, citable export for any substance: every value, its source document, and an archived copy you can check against.

  5. Know when the science moves.

Watch a list of substances; when a regulator reclassifies one, sets a new limit, or a court changes a ruling, you get the change and its source.

    1 Aug 2025 · EU Court of Justice · Titanium dioxide (13463-67-7)

Appeals dismissed: the EU classification of certain titanium dioxide powders as "suspected of being carcinogenic to humans, by inhalation" stays annulled.

What it changes: safety data sheets and labels written while the classification applied may still carry it. · Source: CJEU Press Release No 99/25 [S4], archived.

  6. We publish our own errors, and what we don’t know.

The correction directives open against the live properties, or not yet tied to one, are listed publicly; findings not yet placed in a directive are not on that list. Records that declare the data they lack come at launch.
